- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Another one of those money hungry doctors. Said that he can get a custom pair of inserts for $328 and after we said that we don't want it, he proceeded to cast. We thought they just wanted it for our records or maybe they keep it so if we ever decide to get the inserts, we can give them a call instead of coming in. After specifying many times that we were not going to get the inserts and aren't looking to spend out of pocket money for the time being, we get a bill of $75 in the mail for cast expenses??? After calling them and telling them that we didn't want the cast or inserts at all, the doctor said my time is worth a lot more than $75 when he already got paid for the office visit through our insurance policy. He then said I don't have time to talk about this and hung up. Definitely reporting this to insurance and most definitely not going to pay them a penny.
